ARCHIMED, European private equity healthcare specialist, announces successful growth of its portfolio company Micromed into Neurodiagnostics – on both sides of the Atlantic.

ARCHIMED expands neurodiagnostic business in Europe and the US

Portfolio Company, Micromed, a European-based neurodiagnostic system manufacturer has moved to direct sales in the United States and its wholly owned subsidiary, US based Moberg ICU Solutions has expanded its reach into Europe.

The strategic integration of these two companies will allow Micromed and Moberg to each leverage the other’s existing geographic footprint. This will allow both companies to increase their reach to Neurologists, Epileptologists, Neurocritical Care Specialists and EEG Technicians across Europe and the United States.
Since the transition to direct sales in the US, Micromed systems have secured a multimillion sale in New England, together with significant expansion projects in all its existing major installations across the United States.

Thanks to the strategic integration, Moberg now has access to Micromed’s European distribution network for its cutting-edge Smart Neuro ICU technologies selling equipment into three major ICU centers in France and Italy.
