Vita Health is the successful bidder for the delivery of the Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire IAPT services following a comprehensive procurement process that concluded in April 2019.

As of September this year, Vita Health will be providing a redesigned and more comprehensive local service for patients. As well as continuing to provide high quality therapy treatments, the service will focus on the causes as well as the symptons of mental ill-health.

Derrick Farrell, CEO, Vita Health, said : “We look forward to partnering and working with established local providers and charities, healthcare organisations, GPs and service users to set up the new service as quickly and smoothly as possible. Our ultimate aim is to make people better. We want to make a real difference to service user outcomes by delivering the right mental health care, in the right place and at the right time.”
