Vita Health Group wins contract to deliver IAPT services in Basildon and Brentwood

Vita Health Group has been chosen as the preferred provider to deliver the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) services in Basildon and Brentwood, after a clinically-led procurement process.

NHS Basildon and Brentwood CCG worked with patient representatives, consultants, GPs, and therapists to develop a new model of care to make sure the well-being needs of patients are also taken into account, in addition to treating their mental health condition.

Vitaminds, the new and improved psychological therapies service proposed by Vita Health, will promote well-being and self-care. It will be available as of April 1, 2019 via www.vitahealthgroup.co.uk and will allow patients to have access to:

  • Psychological Therapies to treat Depression and Anxiety-related disorders
  • 24/7 Helpline with a Counsellor for emotional support
  • Ease of Access: Self-Referral online, clinical locations throughout the neighborhoods, online, group, and video therapies
  • Integration with Long Term Conditions Services: Joined up working with Diabetes, Stroke, Respiratory, and Chronic Pain specialists
